Meet the team

Evelyn McDermott - Managing Director

Evelyn founded Oranges & Lemons in 1994 after a career in Public Relations. He has been involved in the world of hi-fi for many years, sitting on listening panels and writing equipment reviews. More recently he has served on the board of BADA. Evelyn has overall responsibility for the company and its vision for the future.

David Harmes - Director & Shop Manager

David has been involved with Oranges & Lemons since 1995, originally on a part time basis. In 2003 he left his career in Investment Banking to become a full time member of the team and has responsibility for the management, direction and promotion of the business.

Hugo Cundell - Sales Assistant and Installer

Hugo recently joined the team having had extensive hi-fi and home cinema experience with Audio-T and more recently Hi-Fi Experience. As well as responsibility for conducting stereo and av demonstrations, he is also responsible for system installations and our repairs department.

Consultants: In addition to the core team, O & L work with a number of consultants who work with us as required:

David Worrow Satellites can advise, quote and instal all things to do with Sky and aerials for TV and radio.

Phil Beck, a qualified electrician with knowledge of lighting, multiroom, Pronto programing and projector based systems.

Giles Sutton with knowledge of multiroom (including Linn and Crestron) and Pronto programming.
