Meet the team

Evelyn McDermott - Managing Director

Evelyn founded Oranges & Lemons in 1994 after a career in Public Relations. He has been involved in the world of hi-fi for many years, sitting on listening panels and writing equipment reviews. More recently he has served on the board of BADA. Evelyn has overall responsibility for the company and its vision for the future.

David Harmes - Director & Shop Manager

David has been involved with Oranges & Lemons since 1995, originally on a part time basis. In 2003 he left his career in Investment Banking to become a full time member of the team and has responsibility for the management, direction and promotion of the business.

Hugo Cundell - Sales Assistant and Installer

Hugo joined the team having had extensive hi-fi and home cinema experience with Audio-T and then Hi-Fi Experience. As well as responsibility for conducting stereo and av demonstrations, he is also responsible for system installations and our repairs department.

Asa Griffits - Sales Assistant and Installer

Asa joined the team in April 2008 after gaining invaluable industry experience with Armour Electronics, Harrods and Sevenoaks sound and vision. Asa is a keen Jazz and Rock enthusiast and has also studied postgraduate Art, specialising in video and film so he likes setting up a good Cinema system, and loves to throw some Jazz onto a good LP12 set up.
